It’s sure is starting to feel like summer lately with perfectly sunny days and tons of outdoor festivities around town. Saturday marked the first Hester Street Fair in Hollywood and today we enjoyed a few wonderful hours hanging out at the Franklin Village Street Fair just a block away from our apartment. The free event featured some neat local clothing vendors, a few small bites from the restaurants in the village, and a roster of great local bands. We enjoyed the tender tri-tip sandwiches from the Oaks booth and the filling flatbreads from Birds Hollywood. However, it was the So So Kold snow cone booth that really put the cherry on top of this warm Hollywood afternoon. See below for photos:
Volunteers and festival organizers did a great job this year and we hope it will be even bigger and better next year. Perhaps a couple more food vendors on the street are in order to accommodate a growing crowd? The wait for tables on the block were pretty lengthy, but at least there was beer to make the wait pass by quickly. 😉
